Rubirosa - Upscale gluten free pizza in trendy Nolita
Rubirosa is a popular Italian-American restaurant located in the Nolita neighborhood of Manhattan...
Nami Nori is a NYC-based temaki bar specializing in open-style sushi hand rolls (they look like little sushi tacos). They also have Japanese-inspired snacks and appetizers, along with a selection of beer, sake and wine. The atmosphere is elegant and minimal without coming off as pretentious. They have three locations, including the West Village, Williamsburg and Montclair, NJ. It’s a shame that they don’t advertise more prominently that their entire menu is gluten free!

Nami Nori’s entire menu is gluten free, making this a fantastic option for celiacs or anyone else avoiding gluten. Take advantage of this by ordering some tempura or fried calamari, which is absolutely delicious. It’s nice to know that you can have the miso soup as well, which sometimes contains a small amount of soy sauce. You’ll probably want to order their Signature Set, which includes 5 innovative and surprisingly filling hand rolls. We recommend sitting at the bar so the chefs can present each roll as it’s made. Otherwise you’ll get them all at once delivered to your table, and the seaweed may lose some crispness.
They have a set of vegan temaki as well, making Nami Nori a first-class option for vegans.
