Ground Breaker Brewing recently announced that they’ve found a distributor to bring their beers to New York and New Jersey! NJ distribution is statewide, but NY distribution is currently limited to NYC and Long Island.
Ground Breaker Brewing was opened in 2011 as the first certified gluten free beer brewery in the US. They’re located in Portland, Oregon. All of Ground Breaker’s beers are gluten free (not gluten-removed!) and vegan. None of their packaged beers contain corn-derived sugars or soy-based products.

Ground Breaker’s first shipments to NYC and NJ will include the following beers:
- IPA No. 5
- Inclusion Dry-Hopped Pale Ale
- Dark Ale
- 99 Light Lager
- Calypso Juicy Pale Ale (seasonal)

Besides NY and NJ, you can also find Ground Breaker beer in OR, WA, CA, ID, MI, UT, CO, MA, ME, VT, RI, BC and AB Canada, and Japan. Ground Breaker is one of my favorite gluten free breweries and I’m really excited that their beers are becoming more widely available!
